timetable
sry guys, I don't know why things are being posted twice all the time... But these computers are really slow so I don't wanna wast time deleting them...
My Mum asked for a more chronological overview of my travells:
-1week Connectivity Sao Paulo (15.-22. July 2006)
-2weeks Workcamp Sao Paulo (we built a huge playground for a nearby favela), we stayed in hostfamilies
-I spent some time with a friend of my hostparents' in the mountains in a place called Cuna -a 3 hours-drive from Sao Paulo
-I met Ivan(German), Gawan(German) and Bruno(Brazilian) in a quite touristic fishing-village called Parati; we spent some great time in a place called Trindade (stunning beaches+great rainforest), too. Bruno had to go back to Sao Paulo
-we spent one night in a completly unknown place (a tiny fishing village no tourist has ever set a foot in ) camping on the beach (it was pretty scary!!!!). At six in the morning we were taken out by this really nice fisher-men and the whole advanture turned out to be GREAT!!!!! We stayed on the water until 2pm, caught something like 15kilos of shrimps, we were cooked for and had a lot of fun bathing in the middle of the Atlantic.
-Just in time we got to Angra dos Reis to take the ferry to Ilha Grande. A fantastic island with a lot of rainforest. We went on some quite exhausting hike and were compensated with a fantastic view! The next day the two guys went scooba-diving and I went on another very exhausting hike passing some very beautiful beaches (palm-trees all over, white sand, blue water etc) and finally got to what they call the nicest beach of Brazil: Lopes Mendes!
-After two nights we left Ilha Grande for Rio Dejanero! A great city!!!!! Uncountable kilometers of white beaches. Palm-trees, nice people, huge buildings, fun night-life! The three of us stayed with Ivan's aunt. We went horse-riding (I got a terrible slow horse :( ) and did loads of stuff. Gotta speed up, sry!
-by bus we went to Campo Grande (22h, this is where my throut started hurting...); we spent 2nights in Campo Grande (we were 6people now: Andrea and Iduna two girls I had made friends with during the Connectivity-Conference and Ron(23, Israeli) I met at the bus terminal in Rio)
-we went on a trip to the Pantanal (3nights, several Safaris, horse riding -it was a dream!!!!, piranha-fishing!!!! fun nights sitting around the fire, playing cards...)
-by Ivan, Ron and me got to Corumba. I went to the hospital for the first time (my arm and my hand had started hurting like hell in the pantanal)
-by train we got to Santa Cruz (we met some more people) this is in the middle of Bolivia already, 2. time hospital
-by bus Ivan, Christian(20, German, Connectivity) and me got to Samaipata, a place in the mountains, 3.time hospital
Im taking uncountable tablets, I got so many shots I'm not able to count them any more. I really hope it will all be over soon!!!!
our plan is to
-to take the bus to Sucre tonight.
-to visit Potosi after (4ooom)
-to go on a 3-5 day long safari in the Salar de Uyuni starting in Uyuni
