Fischerdorf Parati

this is where I met Ivan(the one I'm still with -we are on our way to La Paz, he´s German, 20 yrs old), Gawan (also German, 21 he came with us to the Pantanal but didn't cross the border to Bolivia) and Bruno (17, a very nice Brazilian guy we met at the Connectivity).

Parati is this very nice fishing-village, nice little streets and a huge historic center. It is a pity that it is so flooded with tourists -the houses are either Pousadas, souvenir-shops, or restaurants. At this time the small town was particularily crowded as it was the anual literatur-fair.
We stayed at a very nice camp-site right next to some very very nice beach..
One fun thing was to hire a fishing-boat (3 girls from Korea(!!!) joined us which made it cheaper) and visit some of the nice little islands (some of the pictures I posted were taken there....)
Moreover, we visited this really nice place called Trindade where there are very nice beaches with huge waves and stuff. It was there that we went to the rainforest with nothing on us but our bathing-stuff. We had great fun having a nice picknick and swimming in the river with some more Brazilian people. We stayed in Trindade for the whole day. Going swimming in the dark and making our way back through the dark forest -gloeworms playing their tricks on us ,p -quite an advanture but nothing in comparison to what was there to come the next day...
