Crazy Plans
Sry, no time to finish the post below now...
Well, I got savely back from spending some great days with some great people in Quito (I did however sun-burn my face worse than ever spending a whole day in the beautiful National Park of Cotopaxi).
Mhhh, apparently there will be no way of staying here (quiere decir en Ecuador) any longer than until the beginning of May. (I will try to leave to Columbia and obtain another 3 month coming back to Ecuador but chances are rather bad). And as my plane is only leavin on the 1st of July, it seems that I'll have to spent some more time travelling.
Options are but few: Spending two month in Central America and Mexico (I don't know why, but I'd prefer doing that some other time), going to some of the countries I've already been to (ahhhh, no, I don't think so), spending the remaining time teaching English in Columbia (would be easy as there are Madres there, too but somehow I don't see much point in doing that), travelling in Columbia and Venezuela. And that tends to be my favorite. Even though I'm rather afraid. However, my crazy plan is the following: Travelling some 5 weeks in Columbia and Venezuela (two beautiful countries they must be) and spending some 3 weeks making my way back to Ecuador via Manaus, Brazil and Iquitos, Peru. The latter voyage will be by boat only. It's pretty risky as shedules are irregular, boats leave seldomly, Malaria is a risk and everything will be very expensive (not to mention uncomfortable). I am somewhat sad I don't have any return flight leaving from Sao Paulo. I'd travel to Manaus via C&V, travel down all the Amazonas and further south along the beautiful Brazilian coast hitting Salvador and all that.... Dear mommy, no te preoccupes, I'll be fine, hopefully xxx
