MORE MADRID

-It's not easy to take nice pictures of Madrid! The impressive part of the city are the huge buildings, there seems to be little detail to take nice pictures of...

-I wasn't too impressed by the Plaza Mayor. The Grand Place is far more interesting!

-I rested on the stairs facing the Palacio Real de Oriente until it started raining and I made my way back to the nearest metro station. The sun came out again and I enjoyed crossing the Plaza de Orient in the wet evening sun-shine...

-Some more positive points: I was impressed by the number of service personal at the Madrid airport. There were equally many police men in town which made me feel nice and safe (I wonder however, why there should be a need for so many police men...)
